Desktop goes for a holiday

Well, I couldn’t find a way to get my Superdrive to detect any CDs so today, I had to bring my G4 for a little drive to the Apple Service Center at AMK for a short holiday.

Hopefully I don’t have to pay too much to get the drive fixed.

So now I’ll stick with my PowerBook, running a meagre G3 500MHz, but still working fine but just alil hot. Need something to push it up alil for more ventilation.

On a side note, while driving there, I thought that since I’ve been “selling” Macs to so many friends, might as well find a job at one of the Apple Centers selling Macs, and do the same and at the same time, earn money for it. So I PM’ed one fella I knew working at one of the AC and found that he was leaving. Darn, and the reason he said was cause that AC wasn’t really doing well, no business. So, he said I should call in two weeks later.

Question now is, should I call, knowing that the place is 1) quite out of place, 2) not much business, which equates to less commission?

The other AC which I know has better locations and business, have so far rather bad reviews for their staffs’ knowledge and attitude…oh well.
