Group B ( Match Day 10 )
As predicted, the favourites in Group B, France and England put up a much better performance to seal their progression to the quarter finals. England overcame Croatia 4-2 while France top the group with a 3-1 win over Switzerland.
Roo-mania is sweeping across Portugal as Wayne Rooney continue his good form with two goals, between a long awaited goal by Scholes and Lampard finishing with the fourth goal. There is still much to do for the English, especially in their defence if they were to overcome the host nation Portugal in the quarter finals.
France finally showed some form with Thierry Henry finally finding the net twice. It took them some time for France to overcome the Swiss. The win put them at the top of the group and they will face the Greeks in the quarter finals.
Good results for them but bad day at the pool for me. Didn't get anything correct. Oh well, not everyday's a Sunday.
