Hi ho Quicksilver!

Found the cause of last weekend's enforced Shutdown Day involvement - a fried graphics card. Considering that my NVIDIA GeForce4 MX graphics that came originally with my Quicksilver is almost 6 yr-old and is way past its usual life-span, it became only the third item I had to replace from my Mac, first being the SuperDrive, followed by the Airport Card.

I managed to get a replacement card from this cool fella, William, from the little Mac Shop. Previously operating from his home at Siglap, he has shifted to a rather ulu place at Ubi Centre. He responded to my WTB at MUGS and was kind enough to wait for me this evening to pick up the Radeon® 9000 64MB Mac Edition. Man, if you ever want to see past Macs before the second-coming of Jobs, go visit the shop!

They do have quite some spare parts from old Macs which you might need, like myself, to replace faulty ones - do drop William an email at littlemacshop@gmail.com. Your old Macs might just love you more for that!

The shop's address is 57 Ubi Avenue 1, Ubi Centre #07-07 Singapore 408936.
